4 million tons of grain have been milled in Tatarstan

As of September 6, 2017, 4,038,700 tons of grain have been milled in Tatarstan at the average crop yield of 34.9 dt/ha. 1,157,200 ha of fields with grains and pulses have been thrashed (74% of the plan).

Currently, harvesting of spring wheat, barley, buckwheat, sugar beetroot and potato keeps going on in Tatarstan farm households. 572,700 tons of spring wheat have been milled from 175,800 ha of fields (45%), 1,405,200 tons of barley have been milled from 372,700 ha of fields (97%), 21,400 tons of buckwheat have been milled from 15,300 ha of fields (28%). 253,200 tons of sugar beetroot have been harvested from 7,100 ha of fields (10%), 3,400 tons of potato have been harvested from 100 ha of fields (2%).

The biggest grain yield is in Sarmanovo municipal district – 156,500 tons, the average crop yield is 47 dt/ha. In Zainsk municipal district 155,700 tons of grain have been milled (47.9 dt/ha), Buinsk – 151,200 tons (37.6 dt/ha), Aktanysh – 142,600 tons (40.5 dt/ha), Arsk – 141,500 tons (34.6 dt/ha).

Over 80% of fields have been cleared in Chistopol (82%), Leninogorsk (81%), Saby (81%), Zainsk (80%) and Aksubaevo (80%) municipal districts.
