Forage preservation in Tatarstan

Forage preservation is gaining pace in Tatarstan municipal districts. As of June 15, 2017, 61,700 tons of haylage and 600 tons of hay have been made in the republic.
Perennial grasses have been cut out from 42,100 ha of fields, including 32,600 ha of fields with hay and haylage.
The leading municipal districts in cutting of grasses are Apastovo (4,300 ha), Aznakaevo (3,500 ha), Zainsk (3,200 ha) and Alkeevo (2,900 ha).
Top dressing of agricultural crops also keeps going on in Tatarstan. Anti-weed dressing was carried out on 1,149,100 ha, anti-pest and anti-disease dressing was carried out on 302,200 ha and 321,300 ha correspondingly.

At the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, a meeting was held with the management of the Agro-industrial holding "Indeal" on the issue of developing the export of agricultural products of the Republic of Tatarstan. Deputy Minister Rustem Gainullov and heads of agricultural enterprises of the republic also took part in it.

The Government of the Russian Federation has expanded the social gasification program of horticultural non-profit partnerships (Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation dated April 16, 2024 No. 484). It is now possible to supply gas free of charge to the plots of citizens whose households are located on the territory in a gasified locality.
One of the largest domestic producers of oil and fat products, Kazan Fat Plant JSC (KZhK), summed up the results for 2023. During the reporting period, the production of finished products at the enterprise amounted to 1.12 million tons, which is 37% more than in 2022.

Today, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov paid a working visit to the Drozhzhanovsky municipal district, where he held a zonal seminar-meeting on the topic “Increasing the efficiency of livestock production through the introduction of digitalization and modern technologies.”
