23 April 2024, Tuesday

Today, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov paid a working visit to the Drozhzhanovsky municipal district, where he held a zonal seminar-meeting on the topic “Increasing the efficiency of livestock production through the introduction of digitalization and modern technologies.”

It was also attended by Deputy Ministers Gelyus Bayazitov, Rafael Fattakhov, the head of the Drozhzhanovsky municipal district Marat Gafarov, chiefs, livestock consultants, heads of investment companies, managers and livestock specialists of farms.

During the visit, the minister met with the district’s activists in the winter wheat field of Drozhzhanoe Rassvet Agro LLC and visited the Duvanovsky Gardens.

“The potential of our republic is much higher than what we have today. You and I are capable of increasing livestock production much more. There are all the prerequisites for this. I appeal to farmers and our investors. Livestock farms are the main place of work for our villagers,” noted Marat Zyabbarov.

Today in the republic the daily volume of milk production is more than 4 thousand 855 tons, which is 281 tons more than last year (106%).

Gelyus Bayazitov noted in his report that 433 thousand tons of milk were produced, with an increase of 8% compared to last year. In the ranking of regions in terms of milk production volumes, the republic is in 1st place. The average daily milk yield per cow is 22.5 kg, with a plus of 1.5 kg. Here we are only in 29th place among the regions, although we have risen by 4 positions over the year.

In every region there are farms that are increasing the number of livestock, and there are those who continue to reduce. In the Buinsky district, the Avangard and Embulatovo farms showed good dynamics. Good dynamics both in the number of cattle and in the number of cows on the Tugan Yak-Agro farm in the Kaybitsky district. At the same time, the cattle population of the Tetyushsky district farms is stable.

Next, he focused on the number of sheep and horses by region. Compared to last year, the number of sheep in the Verkhneuslonsky, Apastovsky and Tetyushsky districts has increased. In terms of the number of horses, the situation is stable in the Zelenodolsk and Drozhzhanovsky districts. A significant increase is in the Buinsky district - plus 212 heads.

"Dear Colleagues! Every year the demand for sheep and horse breeding products increases. To stimulate the development of farms, starting this year, changes were made to the Agrostartup grant support program for beginning farmers. These 2 areas are now priorities, the accrual of points for them is the same as in dairy farming,” noted Gelyus Bayazitov.

Based on the results of the first quarter of this year, a rating of milk producers was released. All farms in this zone were divided into 3 groups. The 1st group of farms with a dairy herd of more than 1 thousand heads, the 2nd group - with a dairy herd of 500 to 1 thousand heads.

1st place in the 1st group is taken by the Avangard farm of the Buinsky district with productivity per cow of 2463 kg, which exceeds the republican average.

Among the farms of the 2nd group, the Tsilna farm in the Drozhzhanovsky district takes first place. Here the milk yield per cow was 2931 kg. The results of selection and breeding work with the herd are visible.

Group 3 – farms with a livestock of less than 500 animals. Three farms exceeded the national average: Ibragimov and K in Apastovsky district, Embulatovo in Buinsky district and Tugan yak-agro in Kaibitsky district.

During the 1st quarter, more than 70,800 heads of calves were received. 89 thousand heads of cows and heifers were inseminated, which is 6% more than last year. They also worked successfully for the insemination of cows and heifers on private farms.

Animal identification was also discussed during the meeting; biosafety and biosecurity of dairy farms; advanced technologies for keeping, growing and feeding animals at MOLKO-Drozhzhanoe LLC.
