Agrarians of 41 districts of Tatarstan started spring field work
An abnormally warm winter and early spring influenced the plans of farmers and allowed them to start agricultural work earlier than usual. Agricultural producers of 41 districts of the republic are working on feeding winter crops. So, today according to the operational data of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, the farmers of Aktanyshsky, Chistopolsky, Aznakaevsky, Buinsky, Vysokogorsky, Muslyumovsky, Alekseevsky, Arsky, Apastovsky, Laishevsky, Menzelinsky, Sarmanovsky, Yutazinsky, Aksubayevsky, Almetiev, Almet Zelenodolsky, Kaybitsky, Kamsko-Ustinsky, Leninogorsk, Mamadyshsky, Nizhnekamsky, Novosheshminsky, Nurlatsky, Pestrechinsky, Rybno-Slobodsky, Tukaevsky, Alkeevsky, Baltasinsky, Bugulminsky, Verkhneuslonsky, Elabuzhsky, Kukmorsky, Sabinsky, Spassky, Tyulyachinsky and Cheremshansky areas are in the fields.
“Districts ask – isn’t it too early to make fertilizers. According to the recommendations of scientists, early feeding is an economically feasible agricultural method, especially in areas where the winter crops are weakened. Therefore, work must begin first in these areas. Today's early start of top dressing makes it possible to more rationally distribute the load on the aggregates and working personnel of farms”, said the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov.
The head of the Ministry added that today there are many experts who predict what the harvest will be and, in this regard, mentioned statistics. For last 30 years, the most fruitful were 1997 and 2008. At the same time, in 1997 sowing started late, in the third decade of April (04.24.1997, gross harvest - 6.2 million tons), in 2008 - earlier than the average annual, in the first decade of the same month (04.04.2008 - 6, 3 million tons). So, the result depends not only on the start of work, but also on the weather during the growing season, as well as on compliance with all elements of the technology. This is an important component of the crop.
Today, winter crops in the republic are fed on an area of 162.1 thousand ha, perennial crops - 50.1 thousand ha. In total this year, winter crops will be fed on an area of 486.7 thousand ha, and perennial grasses - on 484.1 thousand ha.
Fertilization of winter crops has already been completed by the agrarians of the Zainsky and Tetyushsky districts.
Active work on seed incrustation continues on the fields of the republic. This type of work has already begun in Zainsky, Kaybitsky, Nurlatsky, Sarmanovsky, Tetyushsky, Yutazinsky, Nizhnekamsky, Tukaevsky, Menzelinsky and Aksubaevsky areas.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan reminds that in Tatarstan, agricultural producers can receive budget funds for the purchase of mineral fertilizers for the 2020 crop. This money will be received by farms that accumulate at least 35 kg of the active substance of mineral fertilizers per hectare of sown area.
This year, the task is to accumulate over 70 kg of active substance per hectare. Mineral fertilizers are the basis for obtaining high crop yields and replenishing the removal of mineral elements from the soil. Fertilizers not only increase productivity, but also improve its quality: the content of sugars, fats and proteins, as well as biologically active substances, increases.
