The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan: agricultural enterprises of the republic have produced 757,200 tons of milk and 222,600 tons of meat within 7 months

A session on the records in animal breeding within 7 months of 2017 was carried out in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan today. The session was held by Deputy Animal Breeding Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nazip Khazipov.

Chiefs, animal breeding consultants of local directorates for agriculture, specialists of “Chief State Agricultural Directorate for Pedigree Animal Breeding of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan”, directors and specialists of republican enterprises took part in the session.

Nazip Khazipov made a key-note report on the records of animal breeding. He stated that as of August 1, 2017, the livestock population in Tatarstan agricultural enterprises was 746,000 animals, including 245,900 cows. 757,200 tons of milk had been produced (105% compared with the previous year level), 222,600 tons of meat and poultry had been produced (102%), including 57,700 tons of livestock meat (104%).

The livestock population have been increased in Zainsk, Sarmanovo, Kukmor and Baltasi municipal districts, compared with the figure of the previous year. A decrease in livestock population is in chistopol, Menzelinsk, Cheremshan and Kamskoe Ustye municipal districts.

The biggest increase in milk production is in Atnya, Kukmor, Zainsk and Alkeevo municipal districts. A decrease in milk production is in Kamskoe Ustye, Arsk, Menzelinsk, Apastovo and tukaevo municipal districts.

Deputy Minister spoke in details about forage making. Hazip Khazipov also spoke on the forthcoming 44th Republican contest of machine milking operators , which takes place on august 17-18 in “Menger” enterprise of Atnya municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan.

After that Director at “Chief State Agricultural Directorate for Pedigree Animal Breeding of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan” Rishat Zaripov informed the participants about the records of pedigree cattle breeding.
