3 February 2021, Wednesday

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan pays great attention to the development of agricultural cooperation in the republic. For farmers, joining a cooperative has several benefits. First of all, this is an increase in the profitability of production by combining efforts for the production, storage and processing of products. Secondly, access to credit resources, and, thirdly, the ability to enter large regional and federal trade networks. But effective management is essential for a successful cooperative. This is what everyone is taught within the modular express course "Cooperative manager".

From 2 to 6 February, four-day face-to-face classes in the "Cooperative Manager" course started. These classes are a continuation of an online module formed on the educational platform of RIVC Agroonline JSC. Students from the Chelyabinsk and Volgograd regions came to the face-to-face classes.

The opening of the course was attended by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rishat Khabipov and the rector of the Kazan Agrarian University Airat Valiev.

“This is the third training season, which traditionally takes place before the Olympiad of executive directors of the cooperation. It is planned within the framework of the board of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan on February 8-9, "Rishat Khabipov noted.

Training is conducted on the basis of the Kazan State Agrarian University. As part of the program, students will learn about accounting and economics of cooperatives, business planning, as well as conduct research and find new solutions in the development of cooperation.

In the summer period, for the students of the first and second modules, an internship program is provided in the operating cooperatives of Tatarstan.

Because of the high need for educational support of cooperators, the training of 3 streams of students will start on February 15 at the Kazan Agrarian University.

The training is conducted by Renat Mamaev, Deputy Director of RIVC JSC. All questions of interest can be clarified by calling 89053191119.
