Agriculture Minister Dmitry Patrushev chaired a regular meeting of the operational headquarters to monitor the situation with socially significant agricultural products and food.
During the event, with the participation of the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Nail Zalakov, representatives of the Federation Council, federal executive bodies, regional governing bodies of the agro-industrial complex and industry unions, they discussed the situation in the agro-industrial complex and the food market in Russia.
As Dmitry Patrushev noted, Russian regions are increasingly involved in the harvesting process. To date, 33.4 million tons of grain have already been threshed. The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia expects that the harvesting campaign will be carried out normally, and the crop forecasts will be fulfilled.
Field work in the regions of the republic under the special control of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. Agrarians of the republic have started harvesting grain crops in selected fields. In total, 11.66 thousand hectares were threshed, 41.65 thousand tons were threshed.
In the fields of the republic, active work is also underway to procure fodder. According to the operational data of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan, 2 million 705 thousand tons of haylage and 542 thousand tons of hay have been prepared for wintering cattle in the republic's farms. On average, 19.69 centners of fodder units are stored in the Republic of Tatarstan per one conventional head of cattle. The first mowing of annual grasses and forage mixtures on an area of 99.2 thousand hectares has been completed, and the second mowing has begun.
Also, the meeting participants discussed the prospects for the development of mechanisms for agricultural insurance and protection of property interests of farmers. It was noted that their improvement is associated with amendments to the federal law "On state support in the field of agricultural insurance and on amendments to the Federal Law" On the development of agriculture. "
Another topic of the meeting was the activities of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia related to the digitalization of the agro-industrial complex. Currently, the implementation of the project to create a "Single Window" is entering an active stage, which provides for the development of an information system for collecting statistical data on the directions of the department's activities. Within its framework, among other things, an analytical block is being formed, which is necessary to improve the efficiency of the implementation of the state program "Comprehensive development of rural areas". The created database and indicators of the level of socio-economic development of rural areas in the context of settlements will form the basis for the formation of state policy in this area.
