29 January 2019, Tuesday

The introduction of electronic veterinary certification and other mechanisms of protection against animal diseases in agriculture will contribute to the civilized development of the industry and will have a positive impact on human health. It was said by Vladimir Putin at the meeting with Minister of agriculture Dmitry Patrushev and head of the Federal service of veterinary and phytosanitary control Sergei Dankvert the 28th of January.

Now in the system throughout Russia there are more than 332.2 thousand legal entities, more than 388 thousand individual entrepreneurs of KFH and more than 1.4 million individuals and private households and pet owners.

In Tatarstan, today there are 28,052 legal entities, 14,492 individual entrepreneurs of KFH and 39,561 individuals of private farms and domestic pet owners registered in the system.

We remind that from July 1, 2018, veterinary accompanying documents on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan are drawn up in electronic form absolutely free of charge using FGIS “Mercury”, developed by the Rosselkhoznadzor and approved by the Law “On Veterinary”, which removes the additional burden on business and reduces the material costs of agricultural producers.

The system of electronic veterinary certification makes it possible to control the movement of monitored products to the recipient, meaning to track it from the farm to the counter.

"Putting this in order will contribute to the civilized development of agriculture as an industry, and, most importantly, will have a positive impact on people's health. This will certainly strengthen our position in the market and, above all, in the domestic market, because it works and will work on the interests of the consumer, "- Putin said.

Detailed information on electronic veterinary certification can be found on the official website of the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the Republic of Tatarstan.
