The Ministry of Agriculture and Food discussed the issues of seasonal field work
Today, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, chaired by the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev, held a videoconference meeting on the progress of seasonal field work. First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Zalakov took part in it on behalf of our republic.
First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dzhambulat Khatuov reported on the progress of seasonal field work in the Russian Federation.
"To date, 98.3 million tons of grain have been harvested. Last year's indicators for this period were higher, but nevertheless we have the main task - to complete the work on time, " Dzhambulat Khatuov emphasized.
In the current situation, the issue of agricultural insurance of crops is particularly acute. Elena Fastova, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, told about new measures to support farmers.
For example, 278 thousand hectares of crops are insured in the republic, which is 10%. The dynamics are good, it is almost 2 times more than last year.
