97,700 tons of grain have been milled in the republic

As of August 7, 2017, 97,700 tons of grain have been milled in the republic at the average crop yield of 40.1 dt/ha. 24,400 ha with grain crops have been thrashed, which is 1.7%.

The biggest grain yield is in Zainsk municipal district – 17,500 tons, the average crop yield is 50 dt/ha there. 1,000 ha were thrashed by Zainsk farmers within a day. This is the best result among municipal districts of the republic. The leading districts also include Nurlat (13,200 tons of grain have been milled there at the average crop yield of 49.1 dt/ha), Sarmanovo and Aksubaevo (9,000 tons of grain have been milled in each of these districts at the average crop yield of 51 dt/ha and 43.5 dt/ha correspondingly).
