Marat Zyabbarov: Our task is to involve unused lands in agricultural processing by transferring them to interested farmers

On October 11, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov held a meeting with the Ministry of Land and Property Relations of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Rosreestr Department for the Republic of Tatarstan and the Rosselkhoznadzor Office on the issue of unused agricultural lands.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic together with the Rosselkhoznadzor Office are carrying out fruitful work to involve unused agricultural land in the agricultural turnover. This was told by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rishat Khabipov. He also reported that in 2019 the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor of the Republic of Tatarstan together with specialists from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted field inspections of unused land plots, during the inspection of which 33.4 thousand hectares of unused land were revealed. During the supervisory measures 2.5 thousand hectares were put into circulation. 49 violators of land legislation were brought to administrative responsibility, administrative fines in the amount of 2,375 million rubles were imposed. Information was sent to the Federal Tax Service to increase the land tax rate.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed the design of ownerless agricultural facilities with a view to their further transfer to interested agricultural producers.

Based on the results of the workshop, it was decided to study with the owners of unused lands the possibility of transferring them to interested peasant (farm) households with further involvement in processing. This work will be carried out by the executive committees of each region for all unused agricultural land. Based on the results of each quarter, it is planned to summarize the work.
