Today the hero of our column “People of Labor”, in which we write about ordinary people who have earned honor and respect with their labor, is the hereditary pig breeder Minnuri Galeevna Khairullina.
Minnuri Galeevna was born in a peasant family on August 8, 1926 in the village of Artashka, Mamadysh. Her childhood was not easy, at an early age she lost her father and helped her mother in raising children.
When she was 7 years old, the Mamadysh state farm was opened. It is here that Minuri begins to help her mother at such a young age. The girl in a fairly short period of time was able to master the profession and at 15 she began to work independently. Already in the first years of work, a diligent and hardworking Minnuri achieves high results.
The Great Patriotic War was on. Guns rattled somewhere, bombs tore the earth. And at that time, old men, women and children worked in the fields and farms from all days long. In such a difficult time, without losing optimism, the Agrobaza state farm was always set for a high result, which was achieved with great difficulty.
Two years later, Anna Marina, the team leader, said: “You already have experience in feeding piglets, it’s time to move on to the most crucial section." And again she studied: how to prepare queens for farrowing, care for young animals, feed them.
So year after year experience accumulated, skill grew. Obtaining and growing healthy young animals is not easy now, on mechanized farms. But those times everything was done manually. And, nevertheless, successes were significant. She conscientiously treated her duties, performing them neatly. And in 1958 she became a member of the Exhibition of Economic Achievements of the USSR, where she received the first medal in her life.
Purposefulness and firmness of character allowed her to achieve her goals. Minnuri Khayrullina for many years led the socialist competition of livestock breeders in her native region. Observing the technology of animal feeding, efficiently using feed, persistently mastering the knowledge of animal physiology, studying the experience of advanced workers, improving her skills, Minnuri Galeevna achieved high production indicators. So, for example, in 1965 she managed to get and raise 390 piglets from 23 sows, each weighing 20.2 kg each at weaning. Diligence and decency were the hallmarks of an advanced worker.
Having joined the party, she led the movement for communist labor at the state farm and in 1960 she was awarded the title of drummer of Communist labor.
A few years later, for the successes achieved in the development of animal husbandry, the increase in meat production and meat procurements, Minnuri Khairullina became the Hero of Socialist Labor. In March 1966, she was awarded the Golden Star of the Hero and the Award of Lenin. And already in 1969 she received the title of "Master of Livestock 1 class."
Minnuri Khayrullina until the last years of her life was devoted to the profession. Having devoted her whole life to selfless, conscientious work, in her later years she passed on her invaluable experience to the younger generation of schoolchildren.
Minnuri Khayrullina’s labor merits are mentioned in several books: “There is a town in Vyatka”, “Heroes of the Socialist Labor of Tatarstan”.
Now Minnuri Khairullina is no longer with us, but a good memory of her lives in the hearts of the villagers.
