Marat Akhmetov met with the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Today, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov met with the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Saparkhan Omarov, who arrived in Kazan with a working visit.

Marat Akhmetov, together with the General Director of the Agroprompark Oleg Vlasov, made a tour for the guests at the Kazan Agro-Industrial Park, visiting trading floors and production halls.

“Agropark is a modern, multifunctional technological complex, the activity of which is aimed at supporting and developing small and medium-sized entrepreneurial activities in the field of agriculture. A unique system of trading “from farmer to consumer without intermediaries” has been created here, which allows farmers to get all the conditions for creating a successful business, and buyers to win in price and quality of products, ”said Marat Akhmetov.

“In the Agropark, agricultural producers have the opportunity to store, process, pack, produce and market their products on one site. Today, 281 residents work here. More than 1200 jobs were created. The complex operates 20 food processing plants. For example, fresh farm milk is brought daily. The unsold part is used for cheese production, which is located here in the Agropark, ”added Oleg Vlasov.

Also, a delegation from the Republic of Kazakhstan visited the Kazan Hippodrome.

The agro-industrial park Kazan was built with the aim of creating favorable conditions for agricultural producers to sell products and provide consumers with natural, high-quality food products.

The total area of the Agropark is more than 8 hectares. The area of the main building is more than 50 thousand square meters.

The building contains:

- Workshops for processing agricultural products (10 modules - 7130 sq.m),

- storage rooms, freezers (4000 sq.m),

- a bakery (230 sq.m)

- a trading floor (424 workplaces - 14 thousand sq.m.),

- cafe (100 seats - 700 sq.m),

- hotel (37 rooms - 3800 sq.m. in total),

- administrative offices (from 18 to 91 sq.m).

The complex is equipped with parking. In its work, the Agro-Industrial Park Kazan is committed to innovative development, but at the same time takes care of the traditions created in the field of trade in our region. That is why the fairground is preserved on the territory, where agricultural fairs are organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan every autumn and spring.
