On June 20, the livestock breeders of the Spassky District gathered for the traditional competition, which was held in Nikolsky, by the livestock farming complex Andrei Sinitsyn. This year Zulfiya Akhmadeeva from the farm of Ilshat Gabidullin was recognized as the best operator of milking machines.
The application for participation in the competition this year was filed by employees of fifteen farms, among which were representatives of both joint-stock companies and family farms. It should be noted that some of them have already participated in such a competition.
“Thank you for your work and patience,” said Valery Osokin, head of the district executive committee, addressing the participants of the event. “Such competitions are very important, because they allow you to share experiences, discuss issues relevant to livestock breeders.”
Dmitry Savinov, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Food of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rauf Vafin, production and marketing department consultant and others also greeted the participants.
As in previous years, the contestants had to first show the knowledge of the theory, and then confirm it in practice. The competent jury consisted of specialists from the district agricultural department, the veterinary service of the district, etc. All the contestants coped well with the theoretical part, which included questions on the organization of milking and feeding cows and young animals, the design and principles of operation of dairy equipment.
The practical part was especially interesting, livestock breeders competed with each other in disassembling and assembling the milking machine. For those who work on the farm for several years, this operation is not particularly difficult. But mistakes can also be made because of hurrying, so the jury members carefully followed every movement of the hands of the contestants. When so many eyes look at you, you are always nervous. Despite this, Zulfiya Akhmadeeva managed to disassemble and assemble the device in just 4.06 minutes and show the best time. Natalya Kuzmina from KFH of Andrei Sinitsyn, became the second, and the third, fourth and fifth places respectively were taken by Raviya Abdrakhmanova (Avangard JSC), Vera Bitunova (KFH of Kayum Nurgaliyev) and Tatiana Panteleeva (Yury Spiridonov KFH).
The winners and prize-winners of the competition were awarded with diplomas and valuable gifts in a solemn atmosphere. The best milk collectors of the region were also noted: Vitaly Fomin and Galina Vorobyova from the village of Gulushi, who last year sold 25 tons of milk from her part-time farm. Evgeny Sinitsin, the head of the Nikolsky rural settlement, was awarded a diploma and a valuable gift for the best organization of milk collection in 2018.
