21 May 2019, Tuesday

On May 20, the regular regional seminar-meeting on topical issues of the work of local authorities was held in the Cheremshansky municipal district with the participation of the heads of rural settlements of Aksubayevsky, Alkeyevsky, Novosheshminsky, Nurlatsky and Chistopolsky districts. The event began with an introduction to the work of the slaughterhouse, located in the village of Lashmanka. 12 people work there on a permanent basis. Farmers and personal subsidiary farms bring animals for slaughter. From the meat in the shops of the cooperative they produce semi-finished products. In the near future, the shop plans to produce, on average, up to 1 ton of sausage products per day.

The plenary part of the meeting was opened by Ekzam Gubaidullin, Chairman of the Council of Municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan Association, giving a comprehensive report on the development of local self-government in the Republic of Tatarstan at the current stage, problems and prospects, and announcing legislative changes and new measures to support local self-government in Tatarstan.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rishat Habipov informed the audience about the measures of state support provided in the field of agriculture, in particular to farmers and personal subsidiary farms. He also urged to study the experience of the Cheremshansky District in creating mini-farms. Its number grows every year and currently is 13.

“We must find and assist those who want to work in this form. I would like the heads of the settlements themselves to show an example in this matter. Indeed, in a rural area, it’s worth starting one and a neighbor will do the same, ”supposed Ekzam Gubaidullin.

The head of the district Ferdinat Davletshin reported on activities aimed at the development of rural areas of the district. Also during the meeting, the most topical issues for the districts and ways for their resolution were discussed.
