The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan explained the new rules for applicants’ targeted admission in 2019

On May 14, at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Nikolai Titov held a meeting with personnel of agricultural departments and subordinate organizations of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. The event was also attended by representatives of the Kazan State Agrarian University and the Kazan State Academy of Veterinary Medicine of Bauman. In the run-up to the admission campaign, new rules for targeted admission of applicants were explained to the staff of universities.

By the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of March 21, 2019 No. 302, was approved the new Regulation on targeted training in educational programs of secondary vocational and higher education.

The new rules provide a mandatory three-year working out for students who have studied in a targeted area, and also impose penalties for a customer who has entered into an agreement on targeted training with a student but has not perfomed the obligations.

In case of non-fulfillment of obligations for training and labor activities stipulated by the agreement on target training, the student must reimburse full costs associated with the provision of support measures.

During the meeting, Head of the Department of Science, Education and Innovative Technologies of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Khamidullin spoke about the new rules. In his speech, he focused on the federal law of August 3, 2018 No. 337-FZ “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation to Improve Targeted Education”, which entered into force on January 1, 2019.

Further, the head of the personnel department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Guzel Kadyrova explained the main mistakes in the design of departmental award materials, the procedure of work and the presentation of agricultural workers to the awards.

The meeting participants discussed the organization of the archival collections formation of personal documents of individuals who made a significant contribution to the economic, scientific, intellectual and cultural development of the Republic of Tatarstan. Documents of labor, public and scientific activities of prominent personalities are of great interest for the history of the republic and should take a worthy place in the Archival Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The meeting also discussed a number of other issues of the Republic of Tatarstan.
