In Tatarstan, the volume of grant support to farmers and cooperatives increased by 67.2%

 “Last year, the amount of grant support for small and medium-sized businesses in rural areas increased significantly to 878 million rubles in the republic. This is 353 million rubles, or 67.2% more than in 2017, ” said Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Republic of Tatarstan Rishat Habipov.

So, last year, 124 novice farmers received grants totaling 277 million rubles. For comparison: in 2017 such state support was provided to 75 novice farmers, the amount of funds allocated - 175 million rubles.

According to Rishat Khabipov, last year 46 contestants won grants for the development of family livestock farms, the amount of state support was 285 million rubles. In 2017, the same number of winners received grants for these purposes for 200 million rubles.

In addition, the amount of state support provided to agricultural consumer cooperatives has increased in Tatarstan. So, in 2017, grants won 9 such cooperatives, which received 150 million rubles for the development of its own material and technical base. Last year already 24 co-operatives received grants, including 11 beginners, and they received state support of 317 million rubles, said the deputy minister.
