Tatarstan farmers won “The best family farm 2017” Award

The awarding ceremony for the winners of “The best family farm 2017” Contest took place in the All-Union Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy (Moscow) on February 6, 2018. The event was carried out within the framework of the International Exhibition of Pedigree Animal Breeding and Technologies for Manufacturing and Processing of Cattle Breeding Products “AgroFarm-2018”.

It is worth mentioning that the contest was organized by Russia’s Association of peasant (farm) enterprises and agricultural cooperative societies, the All-Union Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy, OOO “DLG RUS” and IA “DairyNews”. Its aim was to find out and reward the most effective peasant farm enterprises dealing with cattle breeding. 35 peasant farm enterprises from 15 constituent entities of the Russian Federation participated in the contest.

There were 4 nominations in the contest. The 1st and the 2nd prizes in the nomination of “The best family meat cattle breeding farm” was given to Tatarstan farmers Anvar Mukhametshin from Vasokaya Gora municipal district and Eduard Gubaidullin from Laishevo municipal district. Nina Shtankova from Moscow Region got the 3rd prize.

The head of a peasant farm enterprise Alexey Trofimov from Tver Region got the 1st prize in the nomination of “The best family dairy breeding farm”, the 2nd prize was given to Sergey Lozhkin from Omsk Region, the 3rd prize – to Roman Rachenkov from Primorye Territory.

Semen Yablonovskiy from Tula Region won “The best family goat breeding farm” prize, Abuyusuf Laipanov from Stavropol Territory won “The best family sheep breeding farm” prize.

Tatarstan farmers Anvar Mukhametshin and Eduard Gubaidullin received grants on the program of “Development of family cattle breeding farms at the premises of peasant farm enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan” in 2016. Anvar Mukhametshin is engaged in horse breeding (there are 136 horses on his farm now), while Eduard Gubaidullin produces meat (as of today, there are 100 livestock animals of his farm).
